Stuart Arnold Newman, 65, of Menan, died May 6, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 14, 1942 in Idaho Falls, a son of Arnold Andersen Newman and Paula Burton Newman. He was raised in Milo, attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. He received his associate degree in Auto Mechanics from Ricks College.
On July 6, 1962, he married Myrna Loy Westover in the Idaho Falls, LDS Temple. He worked as a Plant Supervisor for Idahoan Foods for forty-two years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the High Priest Group Leadership, as Executive Secretary and in many other callings.
Stuart enjoyed fishing and all outdoor activities, camping in Kilgore and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Myrna of Menan, daughters, Vonda Nicole Newman (Brad) Bybee, of Rexburg and Brandy Newman Lopez, Sons, Stuart Kevin (Cynthia) Newman of Salt Lake City, UT, Max Todd (Heidi) Newman, of Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA, Arnold Spencer (Christine) Newman, of Idaho Falls, Dustin Edwin (Michelle) Newman, of Idaho Falls, Collin Trent Newman of Menan, and Trent (Becky) Smith of Boise, sisters, Nola (Doug) Oliver of Ririe and Launa (Les) Grigg of Ammon, brother, Al (Edie) Newman of Pingree, twenty-eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Jordan Bybee and a great-grandson Garrett William Newman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Menan Stake Center, with Bishop Garth Gunderson, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Emmaly Kay Bishoff, 64, passed away May 1, 2008, at Madison Memorial Hospital.
She was born January 22, 1944 in St. Anthony, Idaho to John Carl Whitmore and Mary Ellen Whitmore. She grew up on a farm along Conant Creek in the Farnum area and graduated from North Fremont High School in Ashton in 1962.
Kay then attended Ricks College and graduated in 1964. After college she began working at the Idaho Bank of Commerce. In 1968 she became a clerk at the Eastern Idaho Production Credit Association.
On October 21, 1966 she married Billy J. Bishoff in Ashton, Idaho. Kay left the Eastern Idaho PCA in 1969 to raise her family. Bill and Kay lived in Teton, Idaho and moved to Ashton in 1976. Kay was a loving wife and a wonderful business partner to her husband. Her priorities were her children; she was deeply devoted to them and their families.
Kay was a hard worker on the farm. She enjoyed potato harvest from sorting potatoes to driving truck. Kay’s hobbies included traveling with family, gardening, flowers, pets, horses, and she was an avid collector of decorative plates and unique native American art. She also enjoyed reading and has a large book collection from classic to modern.
After her children finished high school, Kay continued her education and obtained Certified Nurses Aid Certification from Eastern Idaho Vocational College in 1992.
After retirement, she enjoyed going south for the winter with her husband and traveling around the Arizona, Nevada, and the New Mexico areas. She also traveled to the Europe with her husband, then with her daughter, and then again with her sister, Carla.
Survivors include her husband, Billy J. Bishoff of Ashton, Id; son, Bill C. Bishoff and his wife, Jodi of Ashton, Idaho; daughter, Brett Mary Webb and her husband Alexander of Meridian, Idaho; brother, James Whitmore and his wife Barbara, of Ashton, Idaho; sister, Carla Wong and her husband Kai of Livermore, California; granddaughter, Chloe Katlin Bishoff; grandson, Dylan Chase Bishoff; She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 6 at 1:00 PM at the Pineview Cemetery in Ashton under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary. Friends and Family can meet at the Ashton Community United Methodist Church after the services for a family gathering.

Evelyn Rachael Beesley, age 80, of Jackson, Wyoming died peacefully Friday, April 25, 2008 at her home in the Pioneer Homestead in Jackson.
Evelyn was born June 7, 1927 in Magna, Utah to James and Evelyn Woolstenhulme Wanlass. She moved to Teton Valley at a young age and married Earnest Beesley on May 6, 1946 in Victor, Idaho. He later passed away on May 14, 1989. They moved to Jackson in May of 1965.
She enjoyed attending the Jackson Hole Christian Center with her children. She was the Head Housekeeper at the Antler Inn for 34 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, playing Bingo, music, the arts and was famous for her many hats.
She is survived by a son Conan (Bev) Beesley of Wilson, Wyoming; 2 daughters: Carla (Jimmy) Bolerjack of Salmon, Idaho and Cathryn (Dave) Edmiston of Moran, Wyoming; 2 sisters: Nora Richins of Jackson and Truie Weeks of Boise, Idaho; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Jackson Hole Christian Center in Rafter J. Burial will be in the Victor Cemetery in Victor, Idaho under the direction of the Valley Mortuary in Jackson.

Margaret Edith Byars Kennedy, 90 of Parker, died Sunday, April 27, 2008 peacefully at her home.
She was born on November 7, 1917 in Fairdale, North Dakota to William Benedict and Jane Latisha Dynes Byars. She grew up on a farm in North Dakota where her playmates were her 9 brothers and sisters.
She attended school through the 8th grade. She enjoyed working with the farm animals and helping with the farm crops. She married Francis Harry Kennedy on September 23, 1947 at Grafton, North Dakota. He died March 6, 1989. After their marriage they moved to Macks Inn, Idaho where they lived in a cabin during the summer and moved to Elk Creek during the winters.
After their three boys were born they moved to a farm in Wilford. Following the Teton Dam Flood in 1976 they moved to a farm in Parker.
She loved working in her yard and grew beautiful flowers inside and out. She was known for her Christmas cactus. She worked in her yard until almost her 90th birthday.
She enjoyed having her grandchildren, Frankie and Barbara come to visit and made baby quilt for family and friends. She enjoyed a special relationship with her good friend, Gwen Robertson.
She is survived by her Children, Gene A. Kennedy (Deb Griffel-Kennedy) of Parker, Idaho and Harry L. Kennedy of Wilford, Idaho; 3 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, son Ray and all of her brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony.) The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Committal arrangements will be in North Dakota.
Floyd Duane Hall, 72, of Menan, died at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello, April 27, 2008.
He was born April 27, 1936, in Hamer, Idaho, a son of Floyd Wayne Hall and Gladys Bernice Collier.
He attended schools in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School with high honors. He continued his education at the University of Utah, studying Pre-law.
He enlisted in the US Army and served with the Military Police in Texas, Georgia, Colorado, and Italy. He also worked as a Bookkeeper for Base Housing on Hill Air Force Base and as a Truck Driver in construction.
Floyd was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an avid reader, enjoyed studying history, tinkering on electronic appliances, and participating in the Veterans Home Olympics. He was known for helping others and giving the advice that life is worth living one day at a time – and today is the first day of the rest of our lives.
He is survived by seven sisters, Alice Marie Porter, Evelyn Joy (Bob) Packard, Cleora Williams, Sheryl (Burdette) Hayes, Karleen (Lonny) Johnson all of Menan, Bonnie Ballard of Elko, NV, Marilea Hall of Washington, UT, and a brother, Robert (Patricia) Hall, of Idaho Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Wilma Crow, Gayla Hall, and a brother Ralph Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The Family will visit with friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening and from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m. prior to services, both at the funeral home.

Merle DeRoche, 85 of Lewisville, died April 24, 2008, at the Homestead Assisted Living Center of Rigby.
She was born July 20, 1922, at Alta Wyoming, a daughter of Rhodum Stanley Jackson and Johanna Leone Beard Jackson. She attended schools in Alta Wyoming and Teton Basin.
September 8, 1942, she married Clarence Alexander “Bud” DeRoche in Rigby, Idaho. And lived in Lewisville for most of her married life. She worked for Taylor Produce, Clements Brothers Produce, and Ucon Produce then retired from Idaho Fresh Pak in 1986.
She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Visiting Teacher. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 1004. Merle enjoyed bowling in the Rigby Bowling league, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, knitting, crocheting, and horses. She especially loved her grandkids.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Shane) Barzee of Lewisville, a brother Darrell (Thelma) Jackson of Rigby, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bud, a daughter, Sandy, two sisters, Estile Tolley and Mary Ellen Romney, three brothers, Elwin, Elwood and Ralph Jackson.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening and one hour prior to services, both at the Funeral Home. Gilbert "Gib" Dale Christiansen, 70, of Ashton, died April 26, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes. He was born May 9, 1937, in Marysville, Idaho to Leonard John and Bessie Leone Gilbert Christiansen. He attended school in Ashton and graduated from North Fremont High School in 1956.
He joined the National Guard as a junior in high school. He was called into active duty during the Cuban Missile crisis. He was honorably discharged in 1962.
He married Faye Louise Jones on December 18, 1958, in Ashton. They made their home in Marysville. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for local construction and logging companies. He loved camping with his family and hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Faye, of Marysville; children, Debby (Alan) Smith of Rexburg, L.J. (Glenda) Christiansen of Marysville, Bart Christiansen of Marysville, Rochelle (David Bradshaw) Christiansen of Rigby; siblings, Doris Rich of Burley, Jim (Louetta) Christiansen of Idaho Falls, Bob (Lila) Christiansen of Aberdeen, Marla (Howard) Swafford of Aloha, Oregon, Carol (Bill) Farris of Marina, Arizona; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Utawna Christiansen; brothers, Neal Christiansen, Don Christiansen, Delano Christiansen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the Ashton Third Ward LDS Chapel, with Bishop Kevin Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main Street, in Ashton, and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post 89.
Earl Ray Fullmer, age 79, of Tetonia, Idaho, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at his home in Tetonia.
Earl was born October 9, 1928 to Live Walter Fullmer and Beatrice Ure Fullmer. He grew up in Haden, west of Tetonia and attended Teton High School until he enlisted in the army at age 17. He served in the 2nd World War and the Korean Conflict in the Medical Corp.
He married Ruby Pauline Hansen on June 7, 1948 in Tetonia, Idaho. They were sealed with their children in the Idaho Falls Temple, March 3, 1965. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church and served in the Sunday School Presidency and Elder’s Quorum Presidency and as a home teacher.
Earl worked in the potatoes, farmed, worked construction building homes and many other remodeling projects. He also worked in the timber business and in his later years worked for 10 years for the U.S. Forest Service.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and bowled for over 20 years. He also enjoyed puttering in his greenhouse and garden. His main hobby was working in his wood shop creating many special items for his family.
He is survived by his wife Ruby of Tetonia; daughter Beverly (Clint) Beard of Idaho Falls; Sons: Lance (Clea) Fullmer of Idaho Falls; Kurt (Lorri) Fullmer of Logan, Utah; daughter Toni (Kim) Kearsley of Delta Utah.
Richard “Dick” Riley Davey, 73, of Ririe died at his home April 22, 2008.
He was born November 10, 1935 at Lorenzo, a son of George Andrew Davey and Eva Alberta Hall Davey. He attended schools in Menan and graduated from Rigby High School, he continued his education at Ricks College. June, 1953 he enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard, and served in Vietnam. He achieved the rank SFC E7, and was honorably discharged July, 1976.
November 4, 1959 he married Linda Rae Summers in the Idaho Falls, LDS Temple. He worked for the Ririe School District for ten years, the Ririe City Fire Department for twenty years, and was an Operations Manager for Unisource.
Dick was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. He was a Ririe City Councilman for sixteen years and the Ririe City Mayor for twelve years. Dick volunteered as Scout Master, was the Family Reunion Organizer, a member of the VFW, and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Dick is survived by his wife, Linda Rae Summers Davey of Ririe, three daughters, Eva (Paul) Niederer, of Rexburg, Ginger Kay (Denver) Gratton, of Lynden WA, Lorie Clark, of Idaho Falls, two sons, Wesley (Gina) Davey of Hickory, NC, Trevor (Annika) Davey of Ririe, a sister, Iva Lou (Joe) Thornock of Ammon, brothers, Jack Davey of Boise, Merlin (Chris) Davey, of Petaluma, CA and Marvin (Gloria) Davey of Olympia, WA, fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Ririe LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Bruce L. Koon, officiating.
