U.S.A. CENSUS STARTS IN MARCH!
In 2010, the U.S. Census Bureau will count every person living in our nation. Completing your census form helps ensure your community gets its share of funding for essential services. The information you provide is safe. By law, the Census Bureau cannot share respondents’ answers with anyone, including other federal agencies and law enforcement entities. The 2010 Census: it’s easy, important and safe, and your participation is vital. Watch for your census form to arrive in March. We move forward when you send it back. To learn more, visit 2010census.gov.
ARCHER HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION
Motorists could experience periodic delays through mid-March as contractors make repairs to the north bridge structure of the Twin Bridges on the Archer Highway (South 600 East). The majority of repair work will be accomplished from the base of the bridge abutment…but there might be delays to allow for movement of equipment and materials.

The Rexburg Tabernacle Committee is on the home stretch of a major fundraising campaign to refurbish the worn out windows in the historic landmark.

efficiency.
So far $49,000 in grant money and over $6,000 in community contributions have been received for the project. However, approximately $25,000 is still needed. The committee hopes to begin work on the windows in March, dependant on reaching its funding goal.
Your tax deductable contribution of any size is needed for this worthy endeavor.
Please send your check to the City of Rexburg/Tabernacle Windows, PO Box 280, Rexburg, Idaho, 83440. Credit card donations may be paid at City Hall, located at 35 North First East, or by calling 350-3020, ext 2347.
MADISON COUNTY ROAD DEPARTMENT
When a snowplow pushes snow out of the road…those blades can kick up as much as 360 pounds of material and toss it as far as 20 feet…all at a speed of about 20 miles per hour. That’s enough to cause serious damage to garbage cans or anything else left too close to the road. It’s also a hazard to kids playing in the drifts or waiting for a school bus. The Madison County Road Department asks parents to remind their kids to move away from the road whenever a plow is approaching….stay off snow piles close to public roads…and quickly move garbage cans or other property that are standing near the roads.
MADISON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL---VISITOR POLICY
Attention all visitors!
Please do not visit the hospital if you are:
• Under the age of 18
• Pregnant
• Experiencing flu-like symptoms
Free masks and hand sanitizer are available at all hospital entrances. Only two visitors are allowed at a time for each patient. Thank you for helping us
keep community safe and healthy!
